What's Your Most Recent Mb Purchase? 2016

Hello again!

I recently purchased the Meisterstuck 165 platinum trim mechanical pencil! Love it.

Also, just today I purchased the Heritage Collection Rouge Et Noir ballpoint because I needed a good pen to use at work in a lab notebook. I do have a question though! Will a Monteverde Capless Gel Refill work in this pen? It is marketed as being able to be used in Montblanc ballpoint pens...

Thank you!

I've only realized in the past few weeks that I prefer Medium and Stubs. The EF, F, B, and BB nibs I have seldom get touched. The M allows for the ink expression you are pointing to, and are wonderful for everyday writing. The Stubs make for great letter writing when I pen letters to my clients. Although I've found that the Montblanc B nibs are very stubbish compared to other branded Bs.

My latest, and first ever, Montblanc purchase is a number 24 with a B nib.

Perhaps a modest little fellow compared to the many beauts on this thread. Though I absolutely love it! Smooth, wet, and to my hand perfectly sized.

My first Montblanc but I fear it may be the start of a love affair that will cost me dearly!

Exactly my thoughts on the Montblanc M & Stub nibs! You should try the Faber-Castell Ondoro's Medium Nib if you like stubs too. Very stubbish from my personal experience!

My finished collection! Just received my Rouge et Noir and my purchase the week before was the Meisterstuck 165 mechanical pencil!

The other pens are the Urban Speed, M, and Starwalker Midnight :)

Thanks for looking!

Bought my first MB A few weeks ago. It is a 90th anniversary 149. I absolutely love it. I'm afraid this could really be the start of something.

My first MB of 2016 is a Heritage 1912 with a medium nib. I'm in love with this pen and I haven't inked it up yet! Waiting to take it to the closest boutique because the nib extending mechanism is a little rough. :(

I just bought my first ever MB: a store test 146 labelled M, but for some reason, has an 18k broad nib from a Yehudi Menuhin donation pen. Currently making its way to me from Canada.

Fingers crossed.

Calculating.

Just purchased my first Monblanc. A 1960s 149 with a 14c Broad nib from a seller on FPN.

Can't wait for it to make it's way from Europe to Canada!

This has been a long time coming.

Hope it lives up to the hype.

Second-hand, but never inked.

Spent way more than I should have - but, hey, welcome to FPN.

Enjoy

Besides the giant pile of refills I am now selling, I did pick this up...

fpn_1470956436__20160809_163013_resized.

It is a little spout you can attach to your ink bottle in order to easily fill your MB inkwell. I am sure it would not work to fill just any inkwell. :D

I had never seen one before and wanted to share.

I had always wondered what could be used to fill those tiny inkwells, other than an eyedropper.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.
