Just received a 146P with broad nib for my birthday. This is my first non-vintage MB and I am wrapt . It's so comfortable in hand and writes superbly with that hint of stubbiness for which the broad nib is renowned .

As promised finally some more pics on The Knights of the Round Table: The pen is made of blackened titanium with an skeletonized overlay in white gold and decorated with garnet stones. The Montblanc emblem is mother of pearl.

Hope you like it.

Want! Can't afford, but WANT!

Pulled the trigger on a 149 over the weekend, had a offer accepted on the Bay unexpectedly.....looks pretty good in the pics but we'll see.

Stopped by our local authorized dealer who had a pair of StarWalker Cool Blues (FP + BP) for $497 total when purchased together. Ironically, it was something I had been looking at online the last few days and for that price it became my Xmas self-gift.

What a great Christmas gift!

Thank you for the bright, very clear photo.

I'd never heard of this model, so your ‘lucky find’ was my introduction to it.

May you enjoy using them in 2017!

This boy joined the family today- MB 149P EF.

As you can see my capacity in photography is very limited, but I was quite pleased with the way the shadows highlighted the differences between the two nibs.

Now I need to complement the two with a gold-plated 149 and I am thinking that I will very soon need one with the O3B nib.

Merry Christmas!

Thanks to all who replied. My wife and I had stopped by there, having heard that they had been robbed the week prior, to see if we could throw some business their way. They happened to have this pair out on display. It is a medium nib, writes finer than my Swift's fine, but without the drag I've experienced with EFs. It will be perfect for taking notes during meetings since only use pads that can fit in a cargo pocket.

I caved in to a 146 Bordeaux. When it arrived earlier this week I was pleasantly surprised to discover how deep the colour was. On some pictures it can appear much lighter than it really is. Inked it up with Tears of a Clown, which seemed like the perfect match. It's my first 146 and I must confess I really, really like it.

Congrats! I haven't seen one in person yet but the pictures do show quite a variation in color.

I just got a Tolstoy Writers Edition ballpoint on Amazon UK, new, for £400. And I bought a half dozen different colored ink refills for the ballpoints. I have four of the WE ballpoints, and I use them regularly, so having different colored inks will be interesting.

Hello !

I bought as a Christmas gift an Ingrid Bergman Muse edition Mont Blanc ... (yes I buy my own gifts :D) . I was quite happy to find it in the shop ... I think it was unsold because of a problem with the amethyst, it's a bit broken ... So I had a price.

I don't know if I try to get it changed my the awful MB service, or by a jeweller ...

Have a nice new year's eve everybody !!!

One pen roll, two pen rolls, three pen rolls ... So many pen rolls ! Do you want one ?

my tiny shop is open and you can have a closer look on my website to see my cotton (and sometimes silk) OOAK penrolls.
