@jmccarty3 -- Agree with the others. That is one gorgeous pen. And I don't even LIKE orange. :headsmack:

BillH's description of "marmalade" nailed it.

Now you've got me putting another pen on the WANT list. I can't afford one of the Anthracite Stresemann M405s and you're dangling *another* bird in front of me? Totally unfair.... :gaah:

Ibises are lovely indeed!

My humble new daily writer. I still find 100s more aesthetically pleasing but prefer using pens made of plastic over celluloids.

There is also another reason I love Pelikans for: making the most of the available space inside: 1.75 ml of the ink capacity (100N in this case) and the pens opened are less than 5mm shorter than when capped.

Also, in my opinion, Germans perfected soft steel nib production.

Oh, that's pretty! Nice addition indeed.

Did you see sargetalon's article about them?

It's gorgeous. Though in not a big fan of the looks, it seems to be a wild look to me.

Just received a luminous little orange M320 with a medium nib, just the thing for trying out some of my new orange inks. It's a tiny thing--I'd never actually laid hands on one.

I did, indeed it inspired me to finally seek out and buy one. Luckily the LA pen show was just around the corner and I promptly found one!

The added heft from the sterling clip and furniture makes this pen feel satisfyingly solid. Just slightly moreso than the M800.

Just ordered my first Pelikan.....a 1950's 140 with a medium nib.

Any advice on what to expect writing experience wise?
