post-36319-0-72260900-1482974456_thumb.jpgJust got this pen for Christmas. It was made by Wekiva Woodworks in Florida. The cap is magnetized and the barrel design is the back of an actual playing card - very clever. Will do a test run this weekend and hoping it writes as good as it looks.

Sheaffer red translucent school pen, fine nib, with a red tip converter. Curses, this pen performs as well as pens that cost me about one hundred times as much.

Still breaking in my Pilot Lucina - B. Nib. Sheaffer Skrip Turquoise. Though this pen has an ink cartridge, and I have not ordered a converter, it is easy to refill using my ink syringe. Nib is smooth, and the ink flow is good. Truly this is proving to be a wet writer. Good outcome with the Rhodia Dotpad and Black n' Red Notebooks, as well as some parchment stationery. Caps well. With the winter break I am not doing a lot of class preparation notes, so I thought I would just keep this pen inked for a few weeks, while I await my new ASA pen.

How are you liking the 18111, Fred?

A lot......'Tis in my hand of good weight..well balanced..splendid color.

The snake roll stopper is outstanding as is the writing performance {fine and stub nibs}.

My first entry to this topic.

Today I am writing with:

a rOtring Rivette M with Pelikan blue

an orange and yellow Waterman demonstrator schoolpen F with Pelican blue

a Reform Calligraphy 1.9 with Pelican 4001 Brilliant Braun

The Waterman demonstrator writes the most gorgeous fine line.

Stay safe!

I may not actually use the Fisher Space Pen; I rarely do, but it's always there just in case. The pencil is for the crosswords, which will be put away presently. The Pilot Murex has Namiki black ink, and the Mabie Todd Swan has Pilot Blue-Black.
