A quick follow up on my exciting trip to Anderson Pens, in Appleton, WI. I purchased a TWSBI 580 AL, despite the fact that my initial intention was to "just look" and select a fun new color of ink! Inspired by attila (sp.), who posted that gorgeous, multicolor ink and pen sampling, I selected an orangish color called Autumn Oak by Diamine; I would show it to you, but my 7 year old is hogging the iPad, watching the "Annoying Orange." the sanctity of which can not be disturbed without huge protest! I guess you could say we are both fans of "orange."! In my case, only the color!!! Which is never annoying, except unless in a 70s shagg rug or a hideous wallpaper, both of which still haunt me from my youth!

 

My new pen is giving me such a high; I still haven't mentioned the purchase to my husband. Does anybody else have that secret-pen-purchase scenario too? Maybe if I can get him hooked too....

Pelikan 200 green marbled with KWZ Green #2 Iron Gall ink. I was happy to learn that the KWZ green wasn't as dry as ESSR IG ink.
