My unidentified Parker cartridge pen from the 1980's, for some really fun reasons.
I love this pen (not necessarily a fan of hooded nibs, but this one looks awesome. Also, it writes well), although I'm still not sure what to think of the Quink inks.

 

I actually just came back from a weekend trip to London (completely pen-less, oh my!) where I actually met Geoff Parker (great-grandson of the guy who founded Parker pens) at Harrods. We had a pretty long talk about all sorts of pen-related things, which was highly interesting - and I finally got to tell someone who cared how much I love Parker's arrow-style clips.

The pen in rotation is beautiful blue colour Hero 616 – II which is inked with Sailor DoYou.

The thought / quote today comes from the one of the most prominent American Architect, LOUIS I. KAHN. His building displayed the Monumental characteristics.
