The thought inspiration for today comes from one of the most prolific poet of her times, Emily Dickinson.

The pen in rotation today is loaned to me by my friend Tervinder for nib grinding which is Fosfor Custom Pen with Red Bands and Bock Stahl (not so) Rot Nib. It is inked with my favourite Blue Black Ink : Edelstein Tanaznite.

Visconti is in full swing today: Homo Sapiens in Dark Ages (EF nib, Aurora Black), Bronze Age (F nib, Akkerman Simplisties Violet) and Steel Age (1.3 mm stub, Diamine Umber).

The F nib is particularly joyful to use, very springy, very responsive and the Akkerman ink is just gorgeous. At first I couldn't image how I'd ever empty one of their big 150 ml bottles, but now I know :-)

Using a Sailor Professional Gear Mille Coloure with mf nib.

A rather unique and fetching design I'd say. I rather like the way the pen writes with excellent flow and has a sort of precision about it, and although the pen is listed as hard it does give a little to add some interesting little touches to my writing.

I know, it's a beaut isn't it :). The shades of blue look slightly more pastelly than in most of the photos online

At there moment I am using a Parker 45 desk pen. There is something nice about holding a pen with a desk taper that is different from a regular fountain pen.

Apart from my F.P.R. Jaipur, I inked up a Chinese pen I have not used in quite some time. WenJue - This is a thin line pen with a cigar shape. Reminds me of a Hero 616 in diameter. I have owned this pen for approximately 7-8 yrs. The coloring of the cap/barrel is like a dark brown & antique gold. The pen is attractive, and works well in situations when signatures are required. Ink mixture of my own for today - a combination of (4) Chesterfield inks.

One of poems I wrote. It's in Turkish, but rough translate of it:

night collapsed, and I done with no saying a word, I left myself to darkness without anyone seeing, The darkness that I retracting when everyone sleep, more deep than your eyes...

Waterman Hemisphere with Waterman Serenity Blue ink

I've also come to realize that even with lined paper, my writing trends upward.

Tweaking a Hero 9096 with a #5 medium nib. Widening the channel to make it a wet writer.
