Just 2 pens all day.

Catching up with paperwork before stopping for a holiday.

The incredible Jinhao 217, as ever, inked with diamine Sapphire blue.

And

A Waterman c/f semi flex inked with diamine quartz black.

A week without fountain pens, how will I cope?

Sailor ProGear Realo inked with Sheaffer Skrip Blue.

Played a little with a Cross gold plated ballpoint I got as a plebe 33 years ago. The original ink unit still writes. At this rate, it should be ready for a refill in about 100 generations. ;-)

I inked up my Nussbaum, however, only got to use it to sign hospital admission papers. Apart from taking a few pen snaps yesterday, there has been no writing--recovering from surgery. A whole week without using your pens  Creativity finds expression through the act of writing/sketching; and the smooth flow of ink gives that expression satisfaction.

A green Sheaffer Vigilant (Lifetime Balance 875, slender, military clip) with a 0.5 stub by Greg Minuskin, inked with Diamine Eau de Nil. Writes like a dream!

Decided to treat myself to a very nice birthday present a little while ago: the Visconti Homo Sapiens Dark Ages, with EF nib. Filled with Aurora Black ink it is now used alongside its older siblings Bronze Age (F, Akkerman Simplisties Violet) and Steel Age (stub, Diamine Umber). A wonderful trio!

journaling / tinkering with pens / sailing / photography / software development

TWSBI 580AL broad stub with MB Toffee Brown.......writes great but now I'm looking at the ink and thinking maybe as great as Toffee Brown is....

Also, an FC Pocket 66 1.5 Stub ED filled with MB Blue Hour, that one I'll leave alone.

my home-ground italic nib with a cheap Online pen attached.

You know how they say Italic nibs make your handwriting look awesome without much effort?

I WISH. This nib highlights every inconsistency and every wriggle. Which is why I'm using it. I mean, it's painfully frustrating to write with, especially cursive, but the results if my tilt and letter height is even enough are spectacular.
Maybe I'll get prettier handwriting this way, since normal practice apparently doesn't quite seem to cut it.
