A pair of Jinhao x450's (inked with Pelikan 4001 royal blue and Standardgraph burgundy), which I used for university notes. Halfway through the lecture I got bored (a total overdose of Stefan George, the elitist old sod) and switched the x450 with royal blue for a wooden Jinhao 8812 with the same ink, just because I could. Besides, they put down a nearly identical line anyway, despite the different nib sizes.

Also, my Online Academy from Hell, for random notes throughout the day. I MAY have fixed the thing, finally.
(I'm not sure what it says about Online that ALL SIX of my ~5€ Jinhao pens worked straight out of the box, while the Academy for almost four times the money had enough issues for an entire boatload of pens*, but it's probably nothing good)

I was actually looking forward to using my Lamy AL-Star, but I'd have needed a pen with brown ink to complement the green ink in it (I like my university notes dual-colored for organization reasons), and J. Herbin's Terre de Feu is giving me a ton of trouble right now. I'm going to go over to my least-favorite-but-unfortunately-best stationery store tomorrow and buy some brown Standardgraph ink, though, so that'll be nice.

*Tines weren't aligned, the nib was incredibly scratchy even after I fixed that, the pen had MASSIVE baby's bottom syndrome (we're talking "(barely) visible with the naked eye"-massive, here) AND the ink flow was rubbish. Worst pen ever.
Also not the first time I've had that kind of thing happen with Online pens.

My new Jinhao X750 - med. nib. In the new color - PINK! Inked with Montblanc Blue/Black. The nib is smooth with minimal feedback, and wet. Jinhao has two new colors for the X750 & X450 - purple & pink. The Jinhao 159 is also available in the purple; which is a nice, rich purple color. I am partial to purple, however, decided to add the pink X750 to my collection. If you have a young daughter who likes to write with a FP, you might want to order her the pink X750 or X450

Someone gave me an old, dried up Pilot Varsity a while back. Today I finally took it apart, cleaned it, and filled it with Koh-I-Noor green ink.

That's what I'm using today.

I might spray it pink in honor of Helen's new Jinhao ;)
