How does one Binderize an ink?

For me, it is a Pilot 78G B italic finishing a Diamine Regency blue sample, and a TWSBI Eco EF filled with Diamine Tyrian Purple (can you tell I joined the ink drop?)

It is a "student-grade", lever-fill Wearever pen. The chrome cap is encircled with eight grooves. The small gold nib is a fine, but shows no markings whatsoever. Love those old, lever cheapies !

Zum Augenblicke dürft ich sagen:
Verweile doch, du bist so schön !

For me, today:

1) and 2) Parker Vector (yellow), F nib, with KWZI Green-Gold #2, and Pelikan M400 Brown Tortoise, with diluted Noodler's Walnut. Those were for my journal entry (the second pen because I ran out of ink in the first one about 1/3 of the way down the second page). But don't feel bad about the Vector -- that ink ran for about three weeks, since the Vector was one of the pens I brought with me on my trip down south in March.

3) Parker 41 M(?) nib, with diluted Quink Black (for a check register entry).

4) Pelikan M200 (green marble), M nib, for random notes and a shopping list.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Pelikan 20 Silvexa. A cartridge filler with a medium gold nib. A purchase from Adam11 that just arrived yesterday. Quite nice.

Montblanc 149 (1967) inked with Iroshizuku Tsuyu-kusa

Montblanc 344 inked with Montblanc Midnight Blue

Montblanc green striated 144 inked with Hieronymus Green 01

Montblanc 1266 inked with Montblanc JFK

Took these to the MB boutique in Dallas--they were thrilled to see these older pens and wondered aloud why MB doesn't still make pens like that.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

Just picked up a Lamy Vista Demonstrator. So far I find the medium nib on it better than the pilot metro medium.

The pen in rotation today Ranga Zeal in Matte finish Red-Yellow Ripple ebonite with Matte finish Acrylic. Using the same inked with Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-Budo.

And inspiration for today comes from one of the most iconic Architect of our times, Zaha Hadid. She was the first woman to win Pritzker Award.
