An Esterbrook J Grey 2550 inked up with Parker Quink Black. Is it OK to use Quink in a sac?

Parker and Waterman inks as a rule are pretty innocuous....I've never heard of anyone damaging a sac from either of these inks...

My Estie collection includes an SJ in Grey with a 9550 nib....REALLY NICE writer (inked with Waterman Serenity Blue.....)!!

Always try to get the dibs....on fountain pens with EF nibs!!

Thanks, dasFXnib! I'm a stub, flex, architect and OBB user, but have started using fine nibs on the side. Medium is just so medium. Treading on thin ice, I know. .. Liking my Esterbrook very much so far!

Read your review, very through and informative, as are all your reviews. It is such a shame this outstanding looking pen can't be matched with a half decent nib from the supplier.
