Great photo. Lovely pen. But the star is your handwriting. Perhaps my favourite hand on the board. I admire the aesthetic impact of it, while it still conveys freedom and fluidity -- all while being supremely legible. Delightful, beautiful, practical. --h

Thank you so much for such a kind compliment! I am glad you find my handwriting legible. My eleven-year-old son can't read cursive :).

I am really amazed by your writing with the Platinum SF nib! I used to have one, but couldn't get nearly as much flex. You make it look easy!

This nib needs some patience. It took it a good couple of months of intensive writing to break in. Even now, it's nothing more than a semi-flex when a considerable pressure is applied, and most of the time just a 'bouncy nail'. I use the #3776 as my daily writer and love it a lot, but seldom use its (limited) flex capabilities - for fancy capitals and doodles of sorts.

Today I am using a Pelikan M30 which arrived yesterday. It is a comfortable pen with a long section.

That's very interesting. You have had the patience and skill to make the nib work for you. That's awesome! Even if it's just a semi-flex, it's nice to have the option to make those fancy capitals.

I got a bunch of ink samples from Varness yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by Toikwa-matsu. It's not visible in this picture, but it has a nice sheen that I wasn't expecting. It looks very nice in the Eco too!

Esterbrook - #2348 Broad stub nib. Chesterfield Antique Oxford. Decided to pull out one of my Esterbrook FP, which I have not put to use in quite some time. Forgotten how pleasant it is to write with this pen.fpn_1469838162__esterbrookblack2.jpg

Maybe there should be a subsection for the less skilled writers? Really, so many beautiful hands on this thread.

Anyway...

The pen in rotation today is Kaweco Classic Sports – Burgundy which has a Broad nib and it is inked with KWZI IG Turquoise Ink. And the paper used is Tomoe River.

The thought of the day is inspired by one of the Greatest Entrepreneur from India, Narayana Murthy. Today’s thought is kind of motivation for my few friends.

The pen is almost inked most of the times. This pen has replaced my Safari as an edc.

Cool pic and post EoC, I think it's a stunning combo!

Fountain pen novice. I am aquiring pens at a frightening pace, I am afraid it might be an addiction... I see I am not alone here on FPN! Latest acquisitions - Platinum 3776 Kumpoo with Diamine Eau de Nil, Opus 88 Koloro inked with Diamine November Rain, Franklin-Christoph Model Pocket 66 prototype inked with Franklin-Christoph Honeycomb.

Besides the epic photo as always, I was surprised by the post! The writing is beautiful and the ink doubly so. Thanks for sharing! I must confess my EDC needs work - for now I can't leave home without 5 or more pens... Currently in rotation:

ASA Trans Nauka with KWZ Honey (1.1 Jowo)

Pilot Falcon with Iroshizuku Syo-ro (SF)

Lamy Vista with Dark Lilac (1.5)

Sailor Progear Slim Starburst Galaxy with Iroshizuku Kon-peki (M)

Pilot Custom Heritage 92 with KWZ Burgundy (F)

How many do you get by with?
