Don't Just Tell Us About The Pen You're Using, *show* Us! - 2016

As usual, amazing inks, pens, handwriting (love the French Roundhand!) and photos.

I've not had much time lately to spend 'round these parts, but here's a quick at-work photo of what I'm carrying today. The Delta was a recent purchase which I couldn't pass up ($65 including shipping), and the green Parker was a gift from a friend who I had helped out a bit. He doesn't know a lot about fountain pens, but thought this looked like a nice pen. The nib is amazing!

Cheers!

Andrew,

That is a very interesting post! Fantastic writing, particularly with the Falcon. You get some really nice shading with that nib.

Today, I have a very cool vintage pen with an extra fine nib (9550), which writes as fine as Japanese nibs.

If I ever get around to setting up a blog with pen reviews, I hope to have even half as a nice shots as these!

Fountain pen novice. I am aquiring pens at a frightening pace, I am afraid it might be an addiction... I see I am not alone here on FPN! Latest acquisitions - Platinum 3776 Kumpoo with Diamine Eau de Nil, Opus 88 Koloro inked with Diamine November Rain, Franklin-Christoph Model Pocket 66 prototype inked with Franklin-Christoph Honeycomb.

I've read your review. It is the most unusual pen, mind-boggling design, and your hand (and eye) makes it even more attractive.

Inky, this is a stunning pen! Is this the pen you use for Word Game For Everyone? No wonder that handwriting is so lovely

Completely agree! Being able to grind your own is a fantastic skill, and of course your handwriting is terrific with this nib.

@Akustyk, sorry, the ink is Ecclesiastical Stationery Supplies Registrar's Ink. Which I believe is an iron gall ink.

Awesome! One of my most frequently used and favorite inks.

Lovely sketches, show us more!

thank you both of you!

As for what I brought up with me when I went on my week long fishing trip:

Jinhao x750 with a Zebra G nib - Sailor Storia Lion

TSWBI Eco with a FPR Flex nib - Noodler's Black Swan in English Rose

Pilot Metropolitan F nib - Stock Black Cartridge

Jinhao x450 M nib - Noodler's Empire Red

I'm really enjoying the flex of the Zebra G nib (and ran out of ink halfway through the week), though I think I might tinker with it a bit more since ink flow is so-so at the moment and is a bit scratchy.
