Beautiful pens, as always, very nice handwriting, as always. My favorite is the Sheaffer Snorkel. Timeless.

I am a Sheaffer guy, but the Duofold is pure fun. So simple. So good.

You produce some stylish photos (and scripts), the Vac really shines.

Happy to share my experience, Amberlea. Regarding my recent acquisitions, I should prefer the Sentinel (yes, quite elegant, and a terrific writer). But actually my favourite is the Duofold. Kaweco Sport has been purchased together with a 1.1 stub unit, which I haven't tried yet. But the M nib is rather interesting and the ink flow is good. Nice little pen.

Oh boy, isn't it pretty?!

I think the Sheaffer Tuckaway makes a great pen to take on the road, ideal for writing in a Midori notebook, I think.

A pair of stunners. I've got a Golden Brown striated Valiant, and it's a keeper. You show this Tucky at it's best.

Love your penmanship Akustyk.

Very elegant.

Gorgeous! One of my dream pens.

My pen for this week is an old favourite, my Parker 75 with italic nib. The nib is surprisingly flexi and so I have to use a lot less pressure than with some of my other pens. I bought this new in 1981, and it's still a great pen. The poor photos dont show the splendour of the Thuya brown laquer.

I love my silver 75, but yours is something special. Beautiful hand!

Practice, patience, perseverance

I know what you mean ~ I just counted and to my surprise I have

eleven ~ with a twelve on order.

I have been looking at the Mark Twain Crescent demo for years, but haven't bitten the bullet.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Picked up a new ink this weekend, Mont Blanc Permanent Blue, so far it performs pretty well.

I've been looking for an everyday blue ink for work, and this might be it.

(edit: misspelled permanent in my photo. excuse me)

It looks beautiful! You're getting great flex and shading out of this nib.

Thank you for your kind comments! I appreciate them very much. I learned a lot from your posts :)

I heard my son say this phrase earlier today. He apparently mixed up two clichés from different eras. It cracked me up.

A very good quote from Mahabharata struck me last week and I thought I will share with you all

The quote is by Ashtavakra , one of the learned man as mentioned in Mahabharata.

The pen in use is Fosfor Maharaja in custom stabilised wood blank which is inked with Iroshizuku Syo-Ro.

Thank you for sharing. I'm a fan of stubs so that does make a difference.

Here it is! Nib change was a joke (it comes with the section), the tiny piston filler is resting in a glass of water, and the stub is fueled with a Kaweco cartridge (more on that below).

This Bock stub is smooth (with just a right amount of sharpness) and forgiving. It's noticeably narrower than my Jowo stub, despite the same nominal size - 1.1.

The ink in person is far more attractive, you can blame the scanner or my poor processing skills. Btw, all Kaweco inks are somehow under the radar. Overpriced, yes. But their cartridges are quite affordable, and the Ruby is on par with much more expensive "big names" offerings. I can only add that Kaweco Palm Green is one of the most cheerful inks this side of the Universe. Have you tried it?

Wow! A lovely pen, and fantastic writing. The material is unlike any I've ever seen. How does one buy a Fosfor pen? Are they available online? Thanks!

This is beautifully done! I haven't tried any Kaweco inks yet, but you've shown that they are excellent.

As usual, amazing inks, pens, handwriting (love the French Roundhand!) and photos.

I've not had much time lately to spend 'round these parts, but here's a quick at-work photo of what I'm carrying today. The Delta was a recent purchase which I couldn't pass up ($65 including shipping), and the green Parker was a gift from a friend who I had helped out a bit. He doesn't know a lot about fountain pens, but thought this looked like a nice pen. The nib is amazing!

Cheers!
