Happy IndePENdence Day to our friends in the States!

To serve a pleasant reminder, the 4th of July is also my favourite cartoonist's birthday.

Here's a humble homage to Mr. Goldberg:

Now that's what I call an impressive pen/ink combo. Thank you!

Nice pen - the nib seems to write a very "precise" line on that paper. And the colour of that ink is very appealing.

Thanks, Gentlemen!

The pen in rotation today is ASA Trans-Nauka which was part of group buy on FPN. It is inked with Iroshizuku Yama Budo.

Today’s thought comes from one of the most influential teacher of India, Chanakya. There is Diplomatic enclave in Delhi which is named after Chanakya and is called Chanakyapuri and is one of the most prime and posh destination of India.

It's the sonnet again today inked with yuu-yake. Took it to a job interview in my shirtpocket today. Did some japanese translation on the commute and noticed the very nice shading combo they both make, however the Moleskine notebook paper has seen better quality,

Bexley Elegancia - B.Nib. Diamine Sherwood Green. Rhodia Notebook - experienced bleedthrough/echo. Feel the combination of the broad nib & the dark green ink was the root of this issue.

What a nice collection! You've covered the gamut from China, USA, UK & Japan. I have a love for the Eversharp Skyline. I will have to add the Burnt Sienna to my list.

Thanks! Rube was the greatest.

I am a true Internationalist. Got a couple of German pens, too. Skyline is fantastic, probably I'll find me another one, with a flex nib - or a stub? Burnt Sienna will surprise you (change of color during the drydown, also inside the pen), a fun ink, perfect for yellow/cream paper. Thanks a lot!

Isn't it weird that Cachaça is a kind of rum but the taste is really different from other rums? :)

Oh yes it is. And heavier on the head, too. Btw, one of my favourite drinks (contains rum):

My Duofold Jr became a dedicated pen for Sailor Yama-Dori. Can't have enough of this ink!

Here is the little gem I picked up from the Post Office this AM. Ranga Model 8 Premium Ebonite ED with a Broad nib. Inked with Private Reserve Avocado. After putting it through its paces, will comment on the pen.

I don't even know where to start the post, so many beautiful pens and writing! I loved your ASA Vaibhav with Yama-budo! It looks great in the pen. I'm enjoying it with KWZ Honey. Thanks for organizing that Group Buy!

Eli it looks amazing! So many beautiful things in one photo!

Fountain pen novice. I am aquiring pens at a frightening pace, I am afraid it might be an addiction... I see I am not alone here on FPN! Latest acquisitions - Platinum 3776 Kumpoo with Diamine Eau de Nil, Opus 88 Koloro inked with Diamine November Rain, Franklin-Christoph Model Pocket 66 prototype inked with Franklin-Christoph Honeycomb.

Great collection and colour combinations, attika89!

Thank you! I have to say I really enjoy them

Seriously Attila, you are an inspiration. Great taste in pens/inks and great skills. Although, as I said on Instagram, you are also a "bad influence" - you truly enable my addiction! The 6 bottles of KWZ ink and all the shimmertastic Diamine inks can attest to that... LOL.

That's so nice to hear! I really appreciate it, thank you!

As for the bad influence, I can take the blame!

Although Cyber6 and Mishka helped a LOT with that, by sending samples my way! :P

Beautiful! I really like this ink too!
