Emptied my TWSBI today and used these two for drawing.

It looks like I missed the boat on the Lamy Dark Lilac. It seems out of stock everywhere. Still, the De Atramentis Aubergine is a great ink and looks somewhat similar, doesn't it?

Doh!

No worries! I was able to find a bottle, thanks to our good friend EoC. Can't wait to try it out. BTW, I've seen a post from someone emptying out dozens of cartridges into an empty Lamy ink bottle. I'd not want to go through that much work (and expense) for any ink :).

My Lamy Safari w/ my brand new first inking of Iroshizuku Yu-yake (really wanted a nice, shading orange - it did not disappoint!) and my Pilot Custom 823 with Iroshizuku Yama-budo.

 

The text is a reference to my present tomorrow - a Franklin-Christoph 19 with a masuyama and a music nib. Tomorrow is going to be a great day!
