Great matchup. I see where are using some of the same books.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

I never thought I'd like that color, but it's really just the shade of dark-dusty red that I like. Beautiful display; thanks for showing that ink for us!

Wow, lots of great pens and writing.

What services are you folks using to upload pictures? I'm having trouble posting from Google.

You might want to give imgur.com a try ...

Practicing my uncial on some thank you notes after a job interview today (I really want the position, I hope I wow them a little). I used italic hand inside for the actual note. Manuscript pen, medium italic nib, with manuscript ink cartridge, black. The pen feels cheap, very light weight but it writes well. I jusmt wish the body had a bit more weight to it.

Beautiful pen, great penmanship.

Noob question: Visconti nibs are basically #6 size?

mehandiratta: that is a BEAUTIFUL pen :-)

Mine for today is just a simple Duofold with Diamine Syrah. But I like it more and more every time I grab it.

SevenInkyFingers, nice uncial! Very classy -- no doubt the recipients will definitely appreciate it.

This pen arrived yesterday. It faintly says "PENMAN" on the barrel. My first pen from this brand. I love the contrast between the gold-flecked plastic and black plastic.

Haven't posted in a loooooong while. Have been lurking. Always nice to follow along the doings of friends.

Letter writing day, today.

The vintage pens are new acquisitions from a fellow FPN-er. Both are dreams. The second photo, below -- ie, the good one -- is his.

Flat top: Gold Medal, Sears house brand, about 1928. Fine.

Stepped deco ends: Gold Bond, Montgomery Ward house brand, early 1930s? Medium.

Nakaya, Piccolo Cigar, Negoro "Nuno kise Hon Kataji". Double-broad.

Great test! I like Goldgrun better everytime I see it, but just concerned about how difficult it is to clean a pen after use?

Goldilocks nib on this TWSBI 580AL -- not too crisp and not too sloppy.

Hi, first post so please be gentle! I have a lovely old Dunhill FP which I never use so it is pristine. I want to reanimate it but don't know its model name, can anyone help? It looks like this and is very slimline. I need to know which cartridges to order (I'm hopng just the standard ones).
Thanks
