Inked my Montblanc Replica. Purchased 2008. Chesterfield Rose. It has been more than a year since inking this pen. Nib: #5 - Iridium Point Paris; very smooth; wet nib; no skipping. Cap: Screw cap; clip flexible; Art Deco clip - very unusual. Length: Capped 5 3/4". Uncapped 5". Posted approx. 6 1/2". Weight: 36g. Being a Replica, no proprietary features. Converter/cartridge. It does catch eyes when used in public.

WOW, EoC looks purple in that picture.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Fascinating to finally see the performance and not just the end result. I was most interested to see as you write the letters that you keep the line of the pen pretty much perpendicular to the line of writing rather than at the classical angle used in dip pen writing of copperplate or Spencerian.

Excellent job, and I really enjoyed it. Keep making 'em!

I have 2 Essentials, and M Italic and F Italic and they are my everyday pens in the office. Still probably the smoothest pens i own.

How is the fine italic..??

Lovely examples! Attila, you'll be happy to know that you're examples continue to provide fodder to my addiction, which I am sure I am not the only one here! Emerald of Chivor is on its way to me. Still looking to get KWZ Honey...

Inkluminati, speechless. I would love to learn someday to do flourishes. Beyond a little wave to my T's, there's not much that I can currently do.

Great contribution Christina!

Fountain pen novice. I am aquiring pens at a frightening pace, I am afraid it might be an addiction... I see I am not alone here on FPN! Latest acquisitions - Platinum 3776 Kumpoo with Diamine Eau de Nil, Opus 88 Koloro inked with Diamine November Rain, Franklin-Christoph Model Pocket 66 prototype inked with Franklin-Christoph Honeycomb.

I upload directly to FPN using the "Upload" button up at the top of the page just under the Fountain Pen Network header. Unlimited (so far) storage and allows me to easily add images like today's pens.

Speaking of which, this vintage M2 is just a really fun pen. The nib is smooth as can be, and the pen itself is so well balanced and comfortable. And I like the look. But my Sheaffer is a very understated but wonderful pen. A vacuum filler it holds a ton of ink and it's very comfortable to write with if posted.
