These two have been keeping me company recently: Cross Century II in Mica Grey (inked with Lie de The) and MB Classic (inked with Cross Blue).

Ok, I'm sorry but this post should be banned due to explicit fp *pron!

;) Seriously, amazing skills!

Fountain pen novice. I am aquiring pens at a frightening pace, I am afraid it might be an addiction... I see I am not alone here on FPN! Latest acquisitions - Platinum 3776 Kumpoo with Diamine Eau de Nil, Opus 88 Koloro inked with Diamine November Rain, Franklin-Christoph Model Pocket 66 prototype inked with Franklin-Christoph Honeycomb.

The archetypal school pen with the archetypal school ink. Lamy abc (Anfänger nib) with Lamy Blue. The section bothered me a bit at the very start, but after a few pages I am getting used to it, as is the way of many pens. I intend to thematically pair it with school inks only (blues probably). "Luckily", I never grew up with fountain pens, so I have not been damaged by those boring inks. Instead I find school blue a bit charming and bright.

Helen - Get well soon!

Noihvo - Nice little pen indeed. Nothing wrong with using Lamy Blue every once in a while!

Inkluminati - Breathtaking, as always.

Haven't dipped them yet but build quality wise they seem to be quite lovely.

The thought comes from one of the Great American Poet and Writer, Carl Sandburg. He was winner of three Pulitzer Prizes.

The pen in rotation today is Italix Parson’s Essential with Broad Italic Nib and it is inked with Diamine Eau Di Nil.

I have 2 Essentials, and M Italic and F Italic and they are my everyday pens in the office. Still probably the smoothest pens i own.
