This pen is just an absolute pleasure to use.

And an absolute pleasure to look at. Love the blue ink window. And what a stylish cap top!

Practice, patience, perseverance

This ink is too light yet it's a perfect match for the pen -- I think I'm just keen on the eyedropper bottle. It's a good highlighting ink and also great for ink mixing ( cocktail shaker required ).

Haven't inked the pen yet . . .

any suggestions ?

Why does this post make me feel thirsty? :)

Vaibhav, love that ink, it's so "velvety"!

Fountain pen novice. I am aquiring pens at a frightening pace, I am afraid it might be an addiction... I see I am not alone here on FPN! Latest acquisitions - Platinum 3776 Kumpoo with Diamine Eau de Nil, Opus 88 Koloro inked with Diamine November Rain, Franklin-Christoph Model Pocket 66 prototype inked with Franklin-Christoph Honeycomb.

post-127471-0-75239200-1452511210_thumb.jpgHello Everyone. I joined this forum today because just yesterday I bought a rather lovely Mont Blanc pen - one that was on my 'bucket list' - a 149. it arrived yesterday and I opened it with excitment. it writes like a dream and I am delighted. THEN - I noticed it only had 5 pints on the star! I was so sure I have a fake, but its just too lovely to be a fake! can you enlighten me? I have still got the pen - the seller has offered me a full refund, but I really love this Pen and I want to keep it. Im gonna upload a pic now - im new to all this!

I was wondering why I wasn't getting updates on this thread, and then I saw we switched over to a new 2016 version. ;)

I used my TWSBI 580AL in Silver with a Pilot EF nib mod to pay a little tribute to our fallen star child.

I hate to be a pedant on the "Don't just tell us ..." thread after seeing such awesome artwork ...

... but where's the pen?

David.
