Bought a new bottle of ink last saturday. Sailor 4 seasons Souten. The color is a little too cheerful for blackmetal lyrics, so I thought I'd go with something slightly different.

The pen is a Twsbi 580AL, with a Visconti steel medium nib.

Inked up this old Macniven & Cameron Waverley with Iroshizuku Fuyu-Syogun.

Interesting. Another classic dip nib they tried turning into a gold fountain pen nib. Thanks for sharing!

Sheaffer snorkel, maybe the best pen I have in terms of functionality and pleasure. Ink is waterman Florida blue. Nib is xf.

Now that's (incl. your previous posts) what I call Sheaffer Galore!

Sketching today. Parallel pen (1.5mm) and pencil.

While others are waiting, you're sketching. Can't wait for my 2.4 Parallel.

Coincidentally Greg's working on my two pens...and you inspired my purchase of 4 Shaeffers, now in the mail. Thanks Eli.

My pleasure! I'm sure you'll have fun with your Sheaffer pens - as well as with Greg's nib tuning.

I hope you'll like it as much as I do! ;)

That's for sure. Goin' to make the best of it. Thanks!

Penrivers: I believe the Sheaffer pen is a 440, as the 444 was all metal. As far as I'm concerned that entire "Imperial" range includes some really nice, affordable, attractive workhorse pens.

One of my favorite songs from them

Another vintage Waterman: a #994 Mahogany. The ink is the mysterious "Red Cashmere":

Thanks Ebuckthorn, I didn't dare to call them Imperials, cause there is a controversy about that name here in FPN.

Platinum 3776 with a cursive italic music nib and the opening to a wonderful book ...

Finally got my photo lights set up. I received some lights and a photo tent for Christmas and haven't had a chance to play with any of them until now. No tent yet, but did play around with the lights. For a first attempt it came out pretty good. I still need to play some more to get it all how I like it and to figure out how to get the different options for depth of field I'd like. But not bad for straight out of the camera with no more processing than to crop it.
