Some could make a round crayon look good; with a nice pen... even better!

It's a lovely wet writer, as well.

I presume that Pablo might have adjusted it because my other JoWo nibs aren't particularly wet.

Not only the pen and the writing are stunning, as always, that ink is gorgeous! It had been a while since I had written with green ink, so I just pulled out my Sailor Jentle Epinard, and now this appears on my screen as well. Love it!

Who makes the ink? I'm assuming from the name it's an Indian company. Is it sold anywhere near the US?

Hi,

I use De Atramentis achieve black ink and yes it's a TWSBI Diamond 580 AL blue with a ef nib

Loved the drawing. You're obviously not just a "dabbler." Do you have a regular drawing job? (i.e. book illustrations, comic, cartoon, etc?) I'd love to see more.

I'll tell you a (not so deep) secret. Your posts to this thread are what started me down the path of what led to dip pens. I wanted (and still do) to be able to write like you. Lovely composition, balance and discreet but elegant flourishes. Now that I have a little more understanding, I can appreciate your writing even more.

And yeah, those Jackdaws of Snak's are killer!

Hi,

Yes, I work as a full time Illustrator, doing mainly book illustrations, but also everything els. The pen drawings here, are "just" evening drawings, which i just love doing. My illustrations are usually much more laboured than these drawings.

Lovely contribution! Now you made me look for the pen and the one in red is also quite something. I see you also hand grinded it? Makes me want to play with some cheap toys to try and learn how to do this.

Thanks for the opinion Ptero! And please keep the drawings coming!

Fountain pen novice. I am aquiring pens at a frightening pace, I am afraid it might be an addiction... I see I am not alone here on FPN! Latest acquisitions - Platinum 3776 Kumpoo with Diamine Eau de Nil, Opus 88 Koloro inked with Diamine November Rain, Franklin-Christoph Model Pocket 66 prototype inked with Franklin-Christoph Honeycomb.

That is very high praise, thank you! The key is to have fun. If you're not having fun it shows. :D
