It's throwback Thursday - the Sheaffer Balance from the early 40's and the Parker 51 from the 60's:

I love your vintage pens! Keep them coming :)

Thanks Eli!

I'm still playing with this Pilot CM nib in a Cocoon/Metro (whatever we want to call it  ) with Private Reserve Ebony Purple. Have to admit that the ink is starting to grow on me.

Now to just get my 'L's to not look a bit like deflated 'Z's :P

Lovely handwriting! It's got a very different look than most typical English language styles, such as cursive italic.

This morning, I am writing with a Sheaffer Triumph with a super smooth, juicy M nib. What a treat! Not just pen, a writing machine.

Just picked this up... my first Vanishing Point in Black Carbonesque, beautifully smooth, didn't expect it to be this smooth honestly.

Howdy folks...I'm trying to discover the maker of this pen. I think it may be a Morrison but there are no identifying markings other than the word "glide" imprinted on the size of the pen. The body shape and clip appear to be very Morrison like. If this is not best location for this post, can someone recommend a better area of the site to present this question?

I have seen a pen of identical design, with a #4 Warranted gold nib (a semi-flex) with the name "SB Black and White" on the clip. Hope that helps.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Prompted by the recent passing of John Glenn, I put pen to paper sketching a spacesuit I photographed at The Kennedy Space Centre earlier this year.
Full sketch here.

This is easily my favourite Noodler's pen . . . an eyedropper that came free with the large bottle of Heart of Darkness. It's never given me a moment's grief from the second I filled it. If anyone out there knows how to get a hold of more without buying the ink, please let me know.

Pen: Noodler's Eye Dropper.

Ink: 5 parts Turquoise from non branded cartridges, 3 parts Quink Black, 2 parts Monteverde Black, 1 part Diamine Red Dragon, 1 part Lexington Grey (Dont' ask)
Ink: Diamine Red Dragon.
Ink wash: A mixed up "grey" concoction - no real formula.
Paper: CASS Art Watercolour 300gsm

Tas, is it a Charlie? Check out this link: https://www.gouletpens.com/noodlers-heart-of-darkness-4.5oz-bottled-fountain-pen-ink/p/N19808

If you want one, I can find one.

Hi Amber. Thanks.

No I have a Charlie and I'm very fond of that fella too.

This eyedropper is a little larger than a Charlie and a smidge shorter and thinner than a Konrad.

Its feed is different to all of the others and I think the nib too. I'd pull it out to double check but I daren't as it's SO well adjusted at the moment.

I've just found this http://peninkcillin.blogspot.co.uk/2011/03/noodlers-nib-creaper-eyedropper.html

I haven't scanned or uploaded the most recent, but I'm now finished with ink 333. I can see the train at the end of the tunnel!
