Have a new bottle of R&K Alt-Goldgrun that I got just for this pen... I'll try to add another photo in the next week.

Hope to add a quick test of Alt-Goldgruen too. My Rotring ArtPen loves it.

Eliweisz, I have small bottle of Terre du Feu. It is quite pale color, but not in wet nibs, especially in nib with flex. But from your picture is more red than brown, problably because of my monitor, or light etc. I know that, Terru du Feu is more like reddish brown as you write. I like it in flex nibs, looks wonderful. In stub also!

I have to find my writings sample from flex.... When I find it, I'll post it! :)

Btw great pen! :)

Just as I've already said - your mileage may vary. Paired with a proper paper, Terre de Feu is very nice. And this Toffee Brown in your Doric is probably the greatest brown ink I tried. In my Pilot CH 912 now, fantastic performance.

Earlier today, I was writing with a Parker 51. This one, has a broad nib. Though I struggle with broader nibs, I do love its silky smooth, cushioned ride.

Perfect! Love this Teal Blue. Had some bad luck with a broad P51 nib, but after retipping it turned into my everyday writer - the smoothest stub I've ever got.

Thanks Helen. Yes. Lots of practice :D

Should I see it as an offer?

Thanks for your kind words!

Inky, I love your calligraphy spirals very much.

Today's fun is with a little white Kaweco Sport, with a big 1.9mm italic nib

I agree, Toffee Brown is just stunning :) First line from Doric were very dark, because I didn't use pen for 2 days I suppose. On photo is very dark. But even so dark "side"of the ink I like.

However, the most interesting thing is later. Great color and shading, great property. It's definitely my favorite brown. It's nice to discover it again, especially in tandem with Doric, which was also hidden in the drawer for some time... :)

This shouldn't really be here, as technically I am not using it today (and won't be until Dec. 25th) but I couldn't help but have a sneaky look and a wee hold, and even managed a fly pic, before it got put away.

I Can't wait..

Journaling with my TWSBI Eco today (in my offensively green Leuchtturm). I love how ink looks in this pen :)

In response to the Pen World article on the Chinese pen forum, I am using, among others, 2 of the pens from the article.

The Mighty Roo (Kiagelu 316)

and

The Blue Belter (Huahong A59)

C'mon Eli ....Get yer "Roo" out.

I really like the color on this Delta, I have the matt black, but after seeing this one I may have to add a color.

Btw, here's a couple of shots of my Unica Blue, inked with Visconti Turquoise. The juice isn't too photogenic, but really gorgeous in person:

Have you tuned up your VenVstat? Amazing job. You have all the patience in the world. And - do yourself a favour, get a Snorkel. You'll be surprised how lighweight it feels.

My "Roo" is here, inked with Edelstein Aquamarine. This amber wonder hasn't left rotation for more than two months.

Eli As Sheaffer is a Sheaffer, always a Sheaffer. Why bother with the rest, unless it sings in your hand. Magna VenVstat is great. I need to find a snake clip for it ... gotta bring it to work too. That Delta .. feels like a Nonsense?

Snorkel yes...but must be a Legacy or PFM that is....sadly no BB have been spotted yet.

My first Targa .. a bit slim for my hand (so used to standard size and oversized...)

If you need more girth, and if this Targa (purchased from Ron Zorn maybe?) is slim for your hand, then Snorkels and TMs are definitely not for you. Not a big deal - there are other great Sheaffers around.

Never had a No-Nonsense, but Delta Unica must have something in common with it - both are modeled after the Golden Twenties flat-top pens. It's perfectly balanced, lightweight, and the size must fit all hands, big and small. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Nice writing sample, so expressive - and so elegant.
