The last sketch for Inktober... a quicky I made on the couch while waiting to go see the grandkids in costume.

Lovely. True autumn mood.

So stylish.

Hmmm... I've got the same nib, and it's really soft - but in my hand, it's far less flexible than yours.

Today, I am writing with a Parker 51

A very capable stub - in one of the best pens ever.

Have I said I admire your penmanship?

Bravo!

That's just so lovely and elegantly done. Composition of picture/pen/writing as well as the penmanship. Just struck me as very nice.

t-l, great pen and a great hand. I have two 3776's but neither with the soft fine... hmmm...

Bill, thank you for the kind comment. I've really been liking this nib.

eliweisz, thanks. I did get the pen used, so perhaps the previous owner had already "broken it in", as it were.

Thanks very much, mwpannell!

Today is a day off(national holiday), but I have to buckle down and plan a workshop for work so I'm reaching for a no nonsense pen, a Pilot Custom Heritage 91 fine filled with Rohrer & Klingner Verdigris.

It's actually a new to me pen; it popped up on Kingdom Note's website about a week and a half ago and I just couldn't resist. The body is scratched and there are some small dings here and there, but the nib is just perfect and I find I'm reaching for it more often than not.

On the second thought, maybe "End of the Season" would be more appropriate...

Lovely pen. Given a choice if it were possible, I'd take the ability to write like you over any pen. It brings beauty and life to the written word.

Retired, twice. Time to do more things, writing being one.

Akustyk - indeed a very nice '51. You know I like...broad edged pens. My '51 are all pointee.

Eli - What's that I see? Gothic, Italic, and Roman Caps ... going into fashion this season? Beautiful combo of penmanship et stylos.

Of all my broad pen...I like these the most...

Happy Fountain Pen Day. That is a deliciously dark and deep red. Well done!
