This is excellent calligraphy work! The ink is gorgeous, too. It looks like it's very saturated. How does it flow?

Not usually a daily writer, but I swapped the NIB from another Cross pen and polished it up a bit. Let's see how she rides today!

I've recently, and unexpectedly, discovered the perfect pen. For me ;) It called Sailor....

I love to write with it, everyday! :)

I love "kiddie print" with a broad nib...it makes me smile . :D

Delta Journal broad, inked with Delta black

I can fully understand why many state a Waterman Expert as their daily writer.

A beautifully smooth, well balanced pen, this one of which, I recently obtained for the price of a thing that doesn't cost very much at all. :D

Inked with diamine Imperial purple.

Thank you

Lovely colour, perfect match for pen and ink.

Great message too, there are so many who come begging when they have plenty stepping on those who have little to make themselves appear taller.

Wholeheartedly agree.

Mine, despite being dropped nib first onto the floorboards before it had written a word, was rescued (more by luck than judgement) and is always inked up and ready. Solid and dependable like my Parker 45s but often neglected as it doesn't make a song and dance.

I raise a glass to to the Waterman Expert. :)

Today I'm mixing things up a bit. I have one of my least expensive pens sporting one of my pricier inks and My Frankentownsend, an appropriate entry on All Hallow's Eve IMHO.

I adore French Watermans, but had always side-stepped the Expert (and the Hemisphere) as they are aesthetically not in the same ballpark as Laureats, Maestros etc. but I have learned that there is a lot more to a pen than meets the eye, and the Expert certainly fits that description.

Thanks Eli

You are always so complimentary, which is very heart warming. :)

The last sketch for Inktober... a quicky I made on the couch while waiting to go see the grandkids in costume.
