Welcome back! A beautiful pen, until now, unknown to me. Thank you for your continuing education in Indian pens. It's all so fascinating.

Such a beautiful pen! Congratulations. I am sure it will prove to be en enjoyable pen. And I agree that the 1930s Sheaffer nibs were ground very fine. A great writer!

Today, I am writing with a really interesting pen, a Sheaffer Balance Oversize Vac, with a striated transparent barrel. It holds nearly 3 ml of ink (using the two-stroke method). And one of the best writers I've ever used.

Doing my part for Fountain Pen world domination, only fountain pens are available for students who forget their pens. These are the 2 newest additions to the "Borrow Box". Unlike ballpoints, my fountain pens get returned. I love the fact that the nibs are fine enough to work perfectly on copy paper and notebook paper. Both are inked with Chesterfield Emerald.

thank you for the compliment... I would like to know more about the borrow box

Oh lovely colours Skysora! The nibs suit your hand perfectly.

The other day I got a cute little Moomin Preppy pen and immediately though about you and your Moomin mug cup. I will have to take a pic of that Preppy and show it to you. :P

The pen I am using today is special to me because the camellia tree and flower have special place in my heart.

My family crest has camellia flower in it, and also we have 60 years old camellia japonica trees in our front and back gardens that give us year round permanently green leaves and beautiful red flowers in winter. I just adore them.

I teach high school English and History. I keep highlighters and fountain pens available for student use. I check the pens each morning when I check my school pens for the day and top off the ink supply. Fine nibs seem to work best for my students. All the pens in the "Borrow box" cost me $2.00 or less. The Baoer 801 is the current favorite, so I have ordered 2 more for the box.

First of all, thanks a lot!

Second of all, I have to disappoint you: it's not a natural stone in the background of my pics, just an old concrete fence in my 1930s neighbourhood.

And third and most important of all, your Camelia pen is something special! The best presentation of Cigar ink I ever seen.

Practice, patience, perseverance

That pen is simply exquisite. If I had one of those I'd almost be tempted to give up buying any more fountain pens. Yes I would, I promise I would. (Hoping my wife reads this).

Gorgeous...

re:paper ... I acquired a stack of nice paper stock from a local paper shop (i'm a designer so I go there often.)

I believe I grabbed a bunch of Neenah Classic Crest and some Strathmore paper as well.

Everyone should look up their local paper store, the one I go to actually has a huge sample room.

I always wanted a PFM and only found the nib to be affordable and with BI. Woohoo!

Neat. I always find it fascinating how people manage to get old Targa nibs to fit onto these newer pens. It seems like it should be harder to find a match. Is there some trick to it?

My favorite color scheme once again!

Hope you'll love your marine green Balance.

I'm thinking about giving it away. It wasn't a good return for the money and so is of no use to me.
