The Kaweco is beautiful, and what a great nib! Excellent handwriting, as usual.

Today, I am writing with a needlepoint Sheaffer Balance.

Thanks!

And - an amazing slim Balance. You make these Sheaffers shine!

Parker 75 Presidential

Parker Penman Sapphire.

Perfect. Just perfect.

Nice green pen with great nib! It is so inconspicuous, and yet it is a strong player ;)

And again, wonderful handwriting :)

Thank you!

I agree the pen and ink are perfect, but handwriting is awful.

Just for reference:

https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/199382-koh-i-noor-rapidograph-true-fountain-pen/

Today I manage to create a Frankenpen:

rOtring Rapidograph piston filling, is a technical drawing pen 0.6 with Esterbrook feed and sleeve and Chinese fine nib.

Since I bought this rOtring Rapidograph I read your post and try to convert my pen into a fountain pen. But I couldn't figure out how to add a Esterbrook nib because the nib was touching the cap internal parts. But recently I have found "Lexaf" post on a different forum, and give me the idea to remove the nib and feed from Esterbrook sleeve, change the nib and then put them back but on the other side of the sleeve, resulting a nib unit that can screw much deeper in the rOtring pen, meaning that the nib is not touching the internal housing of the cap.

Check you PM to see reference.

All inked up for the week, new ink in is Diamine Oxford Blue, loving it, might be my daily work ink... I've said that before, but I really like it.

This is an awesome threesome (pardon the unfortunate rhyme)! You are getting amazing flex out of these nibs! I am so impressed! I have been rather unsuccessful getting my Japanese nibs to flex at all, perhaps I am to scared to push them? What's your secret?

Today, I am writing with a Sheaffer Balance Vac in gorgeous Carmine celluloid. I like this material so much, I think it's every bit as gorgeous as modern Montegrappa materials. Do you agree? Disagree? :D

Hmmm, I would have gone for that Carmine Sheaffer. Too late I notice that you have pens for sale on your website AND on that auction site simultaneously. Meaning - as soon as someone makes a bid it immediately puts the pen out of my price range. Bit unfortunate, but such is life. I don't know if that's what happened with this one though.

Man I wish I had your handwriting...

the flex on the 92's? I probably push too hard honestly. I've noticed getting fatigued when writing long periods ... trying to learn to have a softer hand.

I'm 6 months into fountain pens and still pushing like they're ballpoints. :)

I also like Oxford Blue, beautiful deep blue. But I notice that it is quite dry. It began to dry out in my Visconti pen. It seemed suspicious, so I cleaned the pen.

So sorry about that! That pen sold very quickly. I will make sure next time you get the pen you like. I sent you a DM :)

This just arrived in my mailbox! attachicon.gifIMG_20160926_204146369_HDR.jpg

It really is lovely! You make it look so gorgeous. I've been eyeing this pen for a long time. One day!

Hi Friends,

In a Lamy state of mind (as usual):

skysora,

You have such great skill in showing off inks at their best in terms of color and shading. A beautiful collection. Makes me want to get my Safari out and write. That's what it's all about, isn't it?

Earlier today, I was writing with a Parker 51. I love how every time I pick it up, it reminds me why it's considered one of the best pens ever made. Such a great writer! The phrase comes from a penmanship book, and I think it sums up my thoughts about writing with the 51 precisely.
