I have not experienced any staining in the one i have been using this ink. And i leave it in pens for a while when not in use (not recommended practice :))

If this is not recommended , and nothing happened , then it must be safe ink . ;) Or you're just lucky B) ;)

Thanks!

Hahaha

I found it on ebay and thought it would make a cool rollstop, with the intention of getting a black and chrome Jinhao x450, or 159 to put it on but I never got round to it.

It had a longer tail but I broke it while messing about with it, so I snipped the tail into shape and stuck it on the red 450.

It would be quite cool on a black minimalist pen.

Well, my 78G is a rather dry writer. When I tested Sherwood Green in a Snorkel Saratoga Medium, it produced a significantly darker shade. No complaints, I see it a s a bonus, something like having another ink without buying one ;)

Today, something completely different:

What a gorgeous pen!!! You've inspired me to write with a Vac. By the way, your pen/ink pairings are also inspiring, as is your handwriting. Beautiful work!

Endorsed by the great Kenneth Roberts (author of Northwest Passage), the Vacumatic would be a great pen with which to write a novel or a dissertation:

This evening using a Noodler's Ahab Tortoise - Goulet F. Nib. Rohrer & Klingner Alt Goldgrun Ink. Interesting color that is a bit of a challenge to photo unless using a broad or stub nib. Much like the color of a green olive.

Nice Vac! I admire its ergonomics - the pen is perfectly balanced both posted and unposted. The weight and girth are just perfect, no matter your hand size. A wonderpen.

A beauty. And - a very able nib, I must admit! Have to re-ink my Mabie Todd Swan ASAP ;)

My Saratoga sends its best regards ;)

Btw, what's the point of a Gregg point?

It's a very interesting grind, at least on the two Sheaffer's I've seen so far. The tipping material is ground to almost a needlepoint, and the writing surface is nearly perfectly spherical. In practice, the line is of uniform width regardless of the direction of strokes. And it's very, very smooth for a point this fine. If you've ever used a Pelikan "Kugel Sehr Fein," it feels similar.

When I see Gregg point, I think of Gregg shorthand. Never learned it. Maybe when I get my handwriting better, I'll try.

your handwriting is so ... silky. beautiful.

I love seeing your film notes! I also do analog photography, only using a digital camera for my pens.

Thank you! I really appreciate your kind compliment.

Me neither, but the point makes for a fantastic writer for business cursive or Michael Sull's American Cursive Handwriting.

One of the best pens on the market! And you show it off so well. Both the ink and the writing are excellent.

Today, I am writing with a Sheaffer Sovereign II from the mid-1940s. It's a lever filler with a Triumph nib and a matching striated section. I just love that Golden Brown celluloid. Every as beautiful as the modern Pelikan Tortoise. Speaking of which, the pen writes a line that's more like a Pelikan XF, but it sold as a Fine. I used J. Herbin Cacao Du Brésil, one of my favorites, and safe for vintage pens.

Thanks for the explanation (and for your kind words too!). I had some experience with a Pelikan KEF nib years ago, and quite liked it.
