:D

Lovely writing and awesome ink!

Sheaffer's advertisements during the Triumph wartime era were simple, but effective. I can't think of another pen that represents their slogan better than this one :)

Great pens and inks

Whenever I see an alt-goldgrun sample I ask myself why I haven't bought some.

Any chance of a full pen shot of your Mina? I always admire Ernest's work :)

These all look like 1.1 nibs to me - would that be right? Your handwriting has a nice style to it.

I was the same way. After I got my Pelikan Vermeil Green Tortoise, I was looking around for a nice ink to match it, and I thought of Alt-Goldgrün. It's perfect. The shading on Tomoe River is awesome.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

I take back what I said about purple inks. Just look at that! That's Sailor Shigure and a broad italic nib. Lovely, isn't it? (Ignore the rubbish handwriting of course).

The other writing is Pilot Iroshizuku Yama Budo. It did not want to play nice with that dip nib.

Paper is Rhodia. Photography is by the Colour-blind Hedgehog Workshop of Sienna.

Excellent pen. My desire to have my own Mina becomes increasingly! :)

And I just love your handwriting!

It's good to see your robot, Coop.

I've never used Sailor Jentle Blue, even though it's been available forever. I tend to focus a lot on the four seasons inks by Sailor but that standard Jentle Blue is nice with great saturation.

I think the robots are still partying on, because nobody told them to stop, and they don't need to rest unlike we do. :D

Here's my robot.

Weekend project: Building a tray out of an empty cigar box, I acquired recently.

In it:

Lamy Al-Star (EF - currently) Waterman inspired blue - used for sketching

(My first attempt at urban sketching in Moleskine Watercolor Notebook)

TWSBI ECO (EF) Waterman absolute brown for filling out tax forms - meh!

Visconti Van Gogh Pollard Willows (F) Waterman absolute brown for practicing Kanji.

Funny I always think the ECO is a small pen, but it isn't.

Enjoy your weekend!
