As the ink level of my Document Black lowers, the desire for other inks rises.

A Swan of some sort. Last one with ink in it, and for the last time.

For the last time? You resolved on not feeding your swans with ink anymore? Why's that?

Very nice pens! How's that M600 working for you?

Fountain pen novice. I am aquiring pens at a frightening pace, I am afraid it might be an addiction... I see I am not alone here on FPN! Latest acquisitions - Platinum 3776 Kumpoo with Diamine Eau de Nil, Opus 88 Koloro inked with Diamine November Rain, Franklin-Christoph Model Pocket 66 prototype inked with Franklin-Christoph Honeycomb.

I got this recently, along with a few other "vintagey" pens, but this is the one that I've been really taken by.

It's a great wee pen, and the semi-flex nib is fantastic.

It does what my Ahab does, but there is a big difference, that being, that after a page I don't have an arm like Popeye.

Lovely flex, but none of the effort.

It's a great writing pen, but then I suppose that's what it was meant to be.

Hurrah for my new found Parker addiction......I think

Its working perfectly, it's the first time it's inked, the only problem is that though a "fine" nib, it writes like a generous "medium".

Same ink - Levenger Blazing Sunset - in 4 different pens by Richila, on Flickr

I am endlessly fascinated by the way an ink changes from pen to pen and paper to paper.

Ian, that Parker suits your hand well! The result looks like a flex stub made the mark.

Thanks eliweisz, I hadn't really considered Parkers as I got a 15/mixy waay back and it was tiny, which kinda put me off, but I'm really liking this one.

Thanks papen

It's funny you should say that, as the Earnshaw I mentioned produces a very similar result and it has a f-medium italic stub.

I think it has to do with the way my handwriting slopes down from left to right, as it means I'm writing with the "broad" edge, or the flex more than is "normal".

You should see when I use a broad italic nib for my normal handwriting...it looks like I'm writing with a chisel tip marker.

It is the red cartridge that comes with the pen, but it looks really nice on Tomoe River (but what doesn't look good on that anyway)

Can't wait to see when you start to play with the shading where you add two or more colors on these pens by bleeding some from one pen onto the nib of another. Pretty cool!

Congrats

The gold nib for TWSBI Eco pens is fantastic. It's softer than the steel nib, and more pleasant to use, as can be expected.

I can't to try one out! There is simply nothing like a soft nib! Grrrrr! ;)
