Wow that's a lot

OMD! I am going to DIE if I can't get my hands on that Sailor "Honey" ink! Zwack tells me that it's apparently discontinued and hand mixed? If so, it must be VERY expensive!!! Still 'n' all, is there anywhere I can get my hands on this ink? I guess I really won't "die" if I can't purchase it, as I DO have Apache Sunset, which looks very, very close, but still! IS there anywhere that one can purchase this ink, nowadays? Any clue how much it costs, if so?

Having just read through a few of these the G-nib that my wonderful wife IrishEyes couldn't remember the maker of is the "Zebra Comic Pen Nib Type Professional G Model Titanium".

She was also confused (befuddled by pain from a bad earache) between J Herbin 1670 Blue Ocean and Diamine Blue Lightning. The ink is the latter (although the former was on the way at the time).

That Hachimitsu Honey is amazing. Unobtainium, naturally.

Amber, if you will send me a CRV with the Thornton Red, I might be persuaded to compare it to the Edelstein Garnet I just found, plus a few others. It will be a good excuse to set up my new scanner.

Thanks, but I have too much on my plate at the moment.

Now I am thoroughly embarrassed. My perfect husband is right, though--I fought through almost 4 weeks of a really nasty infection of the eustacian tube (tube in the ear that goes to the throat. It regulates pressure behind the eardrum, and drains fluid down the throat when it's working properly) and surrounding tissues before a strong antibiotic seems to have FINALLY cleared it up (it's been 2 days w/out symptoms, thankfully!), *knocks wood*. It really WAS a distractingly painful condition that left me writhing in agony several times a day, and pretty much sobbing through the rest of it. Even painkillers like Percocet wouldn't take the pain away. So I can only blame the pain for my confusing failings to write down the correct maker for the ink, because I DO actually know who makes what when it comes to those two brands of sparkly inks :-). As for the other, I just wasn't sure, and my husband was at work 100 miles away, so I couldn't ask him at the time. My apologies for getting the facts wrong in both cases. Please forgive me. Will do! I'm glad you are getting the scanner up.

Evil ex-husband. Deserves a drawerful of dagger stares.

He should be limited to using Sharpies. Dried out ones.
