I got a sample of Berning Red... in good paper is nice... on regular paper it FEATHERS LIKE A BEE-ITCH.... :glare: :glare:

 

 

The other worst kind of feathering I have ever seen was in one of the Swhisher inks (can't remember which one)... I would post a pic.. but the horror is too much.... :sick:

Actually.. for me even feathers on good paper (just not as much)... I have it spreading like an eagle on Rhodia.. :roller1: :roller1:

The De Atramentis Sapphire is going on my buy list.

 

The D A Sapphire looks to be too dark for my tastes, but I am going to have to have another look at the Pelikan Edelstein Sapphire. Your sample looks so much nicer than mine.

My worst-behaving ink is Everflo True Blue. I am currently using it to test a number of quality Japanese papers, as nothing else feathers or bleeds on them. It even bleeds through on Tomoe River. Quelle horreur!!!

Hmm.... I'd say add a little more water, my SHB didn't bleed through anything.
