Last week, along with some super cheap ink on sale, I ordered a Nimosine Fission in red, with a .6 and medium nibs from xfountainpen. I think it may be my signature pen....

And yesterday, I finally bit the bullet and preordered a Tactile Turn Gist, Polycarbonate + Copper. It just looks amazing, and all the preview reviews seem to confirm its worth.

(I guess it's not quite in the mail yet, but it will be soon!)

It'll be my first $40+ pen. For it, I forewent the Platinum Century and the Lamy Studio in blue. Perhaps a blue pen will be in my future, but not for a while. :)

i backed the tactical turn gist when it was on kickstarter. his videos indicate that he is making good progress on the project.

also wait for a ti scribe another kickstarter fountain pen and a m800 grand place.

The Feds gave me back some money so I ordered stuff last night. Son #2 (lazy lobster) is getting a fine nib Monteverde Intima in glacier blue and some ink samples, and I ordered a couple of Lamys: an extra-fine Safari in graphite and a fine nib Vista.

It was a sale on newly introduced Chesterfield inks through xfountainpens.com. $3.99 for 50 ml of four new Chesterfield Antique inks.

Sadly, the sale ended 2/4/16.

Drat! Yes, that's about 8¢ per mL. A good price, most of the time. Oh well. Thanks for the information.

Faber Castell Ambition in pearwood, XF... I've only been lusting after it for two years! It's going to take a long time to get to me though.

I expected it to arrive yesterday, but today in the mail came the Lamy Safari Dark Lilac. Hurray! It's cool and I really like the matching ink.

Additional: just wandered out at lunch time. Popped into the local University bookstore. Walked out with a bottle of J. Herbin Lierre Sauvage. Talk about random acts.

How nice to be so close to an ink source. I like that shade of green, which I tried via a sample.

Lamy Imporium, medium nib

Waterman Exception, fine nib.

They should cover my higher end needs for a while. I do not expect to see them for a couple of weeks but the Lamy Dark Lilac and GvFC Cobalt Blue inks are waiting.

I am waiting for a Fine Nib Pilot Metropolitan!!

Hoping it will be a good writer that I can carry casually, and not worry about losing it, dropping it, and can clip to a notepad or carry in pants pocket.

I've fallen off the wagon again. I plunked for two Jinhao transparent black 599s for 89¢ each! Oh, I couldn't resist that.

I am supposed to get this vast cache of highly expensive fountain pens somewhere between June and early in July.

Sometimes I wonder if it would be less time-consuming to list pens I'm NOT waiting for in the mail! LOL! :P Totally not true, of course. Anything over the price of my Yard O Led Viceroy Victorian Grand probably ain't gonna happen--not now, not ever.

Right now, I'm waiting for yet another Lamy Al Star (Graphite), and 2 ASA translucent pens--one from a recent group buy, and the Galactic from their website. I can't think of any others, although I DID see a Yard O Led Victorian pocket pen for sale, recently....

A Retro 51 roller ball Dinosaur pen. I wish they made some of their limited editions as fountain pens. I let the Lift Off roller ball stay out of my shopping because it was a roller ball. But oh, I wish I had one. Not making that mistake again. Still wish Dinosauria were a fountain pen.
