Online Vision Nib Replacement

Hi there! This is my first post here, and I am hoping someone might be able to offer some advice.

I have a Online Vision pen that came with a medium point. While I love the pen, the medium point does bad things to my handwriting. I did write to the company to ask what kind of nib would work as a replacement, and did not receive a response. The pen itself can be seen here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0039VSW4I?psc unhappily, I left the pen at work so cannot give the exact info from the nib itself.

And while I am on the topic of nibs, I was also recently given and handmade fountain tip pen. It's lovely, but once again, a medium. The front of the nib says Iridium Point Germany, and the back just has a 3 on it.

And help would be much appreciated!

Thank you,

John

I have a Online Vision as well. I manage to buy an XF nib, but it is way too fine for me. Anyway, the nib unit can be unscrewed, than just pull the nib and feed out of the shell. It looks like a #5 nib, but an Edison or TWSBI (both JoWo) will have a bit of play in the shell, so I'm guessing their nibs are made by Schmidt.

Not very many North American companies seem to carry Online pens, and fewer still stock nibs. You can always go directly to the company and search for nib units:

You'll want units compatible with their easy change system - you can even get a gold nib (which seems like overkill) or a rollerball conversion.

Their shipping is rather pricey, though, so this really only works if you are buying something else as well.

Thank you! I had checked then out when I first bought the pen, I had just forgotten. Their flat rate to the US is $40. For three nibs! I like the pen, but am not sure if I am up for committing to that!

A bargain. 50 Euros to Canada, which rules out my business.
