Bexley Corona Piston Leaking.

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody:

Few years ago I bought a Bexley Corona, piston fill.

After a couple of loads the pen started to leak where the barrel meets the section, right at the end of the threads

So, even the piston works perfectly I stopped using the pen.

Well. First: advice:

Does anybody know if it is posible to unscrew the barrel and section, glue it and screw them again?

Second. WTB:

If anybody has a barrel and cap of a Bexley pen that fits the two tone Bexley nib for making an ED, I listen to offers.

Or another Bexley piston fill without nib, or another brand of cap and barrel that fits the nib, offers welcome.

I am in Mexico,

Best wishes,

Julio

PS: I posted the same topic in classifieds

Did you register the pen with Bexley? . If so it has a lifetime warranty. If not, I would still contact Bexley and have them repair it. I'm sure it won't be that much and you won't void any warranty or mess it up to where parts would be more expensive..

"Are we at last brought to such humiliating and debasing degradation that we cannot be trusted with arms for our defense? Where is the difference between having our arms in possession and under our direction, and having them under the management of Congress? If our defense be the real object of having those arms, in whose hands can they be trusted with more propriety, or equal safety to us, as in our own hands?" Patrick Henry
