This one looks nice, kind of like Montblanc Irish Green without the emerald tone but not so dark that I would call it murky. How were the dry times?

This ink was recommended to me when I was looking for a color that would look good on ivory colored paper. It became one of my favorite inks to use.

I recently discovered "slime" in my bottle though. I came to this post to find a substitute to replace it.

If you mean alternative choice, Sailor Epinard is good (but expensive)

The best replacement would be a fresh bottle, most sellers will replace a bottle that starts growing slime, depending. I've had lots of SITB incidents over the decades and PR has never been one of them. Precipitate once (shoreline gold), but not slime.

I had one bottle which lasted me nearly 6 years. Was one of my favorite inks and which is sadly not manufactured anymore.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

It is out of production?

No, although it does seem often out of stock at those retailers who sell it. I recently purchased a new bottle from ipenstore.com here in the US.
