Thank you for your review. I enjoyed it.

I use Maruman Mnemosyne notebooks a lot and they are very fountain pen-friendly. I use the A6 No. 197 "Today's Act" spiral notebooks for testing inks. I like the thoughtful layout of their pages, with nice faint grey lines, and space for a title and the date in most formats.

Sadly my local supplier has stopped stocking most of the range and they seem to be getting more difficult to find in the UK.

I saw the Today's Act notebook in store and thought it was nice, though I find that smaller spiral notebooks are difficult to use because of the hand position I use while writing.

I'm sorry to hear that your local supplier has stopped stocking them. I've found that the pricing on Mnemosyne notebooks is very good at Goulet Pens, and if you order enough the savings might be enough to offset some of the costs of international shipping.

Thanks for your review. :) I really like the look of this notebook, with the generous page header and horizontal page divisions. I've been wanting to try Mnemosyne, and the only reason I haven't yet is they're sadly not available where I live either. Though I'm hoping to get some the next time I manage to cobble together an order on rakuten or jsubculture. :P

Nice review. I have two of the 181 notebooks I got from the Goulets but haven't written with them yet. Looks like it'll be an enjoyable experience based on your review :D

Nice review. My favorite non-tomoe river notebooks. I use the Maruman Mnemosyne inspiration notebooks in a4 & a5

Thanks for the review. I was toying with the idea of trying these in the future. After the review, they certainly weren't taken off the list. I'm hoping to try one before too much time goes by. You did a good job on this review, thank you!

I find Mnemosyne paper to be a nice, practical, pleasant middle road between the untextured skate of Clairefontaine and the absorbency of, say, Semikolon--sufficiently smooth, with acceptable drying times...and free of Black 'n Red's 'stickiness.'
