Actually, most of these inks are quite nice, but I'm happy to have full bottles of my five favorite. Thanks again to Vis for reviewing these wonderful inks...a lot of hard work, so well done.

I have just returned from a business trip to Tokyo, when I had the chance to visit ITOYA, the large specialist stationery and writing instruments department store on the Ginza. They have a superlative fountain pen and ink department on the 4th floor which stocks all the Kobe Nagasawa inks . However, they restrict customers to one bottle of an ink type at each visit (wisely as otherwise people would hoard!) I managed to purchase a good supply From memory they were around YEN 2000 per bottle.

 

Cool-japan on Ebay sells them online as well but at a higher price including postage.

Reviving this grand comparison just to say thanks again to Visvamitra for doing this. Whenever I need to check out a Kobe colour I always come back to this thread. I've just purchased #19 and #20 that I've long wanted and now waiting for their arrival.
