Hi everyone,

 

 

I'm new to the fountain pen collecting scene, literally began my collection a week ago with the purchase of 3 MontBlancs (at full retail prices) :wallbash: :doh: 2) Gold 149s with m size nibs with black matching leather flap meisterstuck single cases; shipped out to Texas to be engraved "Mr. and Mrs. Sutton" on the right hand side. Hopefully they will be returned before the holidays :) "This purchase is a surprise gift for the Mrs."

 

The third purchase, a treat to myself for starting my own business this year :happyberet: is the MontBlanc Character Edition Andy Warhol size M nib with a Navy credit card wallet. Amex Platinum not included.... :puddle:

 

 

I am looking forward to learning more about this new found love of collecting fine writing instruments from the Fountain Pen community.

Welcome aboard. You're starting out all wrong. You're supposed start with a platinum preppy. Then a few years later you can get the AW.

I went in to exchange a pen case, but I came out with a few additional purchases....

 

MontBlanc 149 platinum medium nib

MontBlanc 149 Rose gold (regular) fine nib

MontBlanc Heritage 1912 Broad nib

 

I will take a family photo as soon as Fedex arrives. My 2 week old collection has grown so fast.
