Hi all, this is my first post and my first Fountain pen review! I had my TWSBI Mini classic for a little less than 8 month. I purchase it from Anderson Pens online.

This pen has been my work horse at work since I purchase it. I'm working in engineering as a Project Manager and I have to take notes all day. I mostly write in my A4 Midori MD notebook at my desk and in my A5 Leuchtturm 1917 notebook for meetings. Sometime I has to write on copy paper, but most of my writting is contained in my notebooks.

As you can see there is a lot of pro for the TWSBI Mini Classic, I could have added, the supplied tools and the silicone bottle, which is a really nice touch.

You can also see that one of my main Con is that this pen is really prone to crack devellopment.

My feeder holder has failed on my 3 time since april.

The first time it happened to me, I've contacted Philip Wang from TWSBI customer support. He happily sent me 2 feeder holder and one extra feed.

The last time it happen I've contacted him to receive another feeder holder. At first he asked me to pay for it, but after some discussion, he sent it to me free of charge. This is supposed to be their new feeder holder with a more durable material. This feeder holder has been on my pen for 3 months now and so far, it seem that their new design works well.

you can see bellow the type of crack that I was dealling with:

At least this seem to be resolved, which is nice.

My latest problem with this pen is now cracking issue on the cap, near the clip as you can see bellow

This issue seem to be more serious since it seem like soon the end cap mettalic part will fall off. Now I dont know the design of the cap, but it worries me that the nib will not be properly sealed when cap is on which would result in dry ink.

To finish this review, I think that TWSBI Mini classic is a good quality price ratio. TWSBI customer support are helpfull. However, I would not recomend this pen as a everyday carry since it prone to fatigue cracking issue.

If you have any comment don't hesitate

PS sorry for my english, I am not a native speaker.

the parts of the cap are as follows

Clip

TWSBI finial

a nut

an inner cap insert

cap band

cap

if the inner cap is still secure you shouldnt have dry outs at least thats the idea to check if your inner cap is still secure you can pull it out with a chopstick with a gripping material, I use my plamo nippers from tamiya to pull them soif you have these you can use them as well

and I also own 1 TWSBI mini and it still has been good well ok I once got the nib collar to fracture near the feed nipple but I degress it may have been entirely been my fault like manipulating the VAC 700 while empty and capped :X (according to most members it's a no no because the pressure is actually strong enough that filling from the Visconti traveling ink pot can result into an ink rocket)
