Sounds like a good time for a pen posse.

  1. DRV1913 - has it now.
  2. Unicial (who is in Ireland)
  3. Chrissy - Chrissy, before you ship it to the US, let's see if we can get Cybaea and ALC321 to play with the book, you'll love to see what they do to it.

Ok, I have now defaced the book. I liked snowbear's stamp block and the butterflies were cool. Loads of lovely inks. Was awestruck by Private Reserve's Tropical Blue. Thank you for including me in this, I really enjoy these a lot. I know 'Chrissy' is up next, but I don't see them on this thread to pm them for an address? Is it Clazbill? If so, I have his address ok.

I just picked up the book from the post office. Missed the delivery at home over the weekend and I thought I'd be in line forever at the post office (USA people: last day to mail off your tax forms today!) ... but their system was down/rebooting, so I got bumped to the front of the line. Package pickup requires no computer.

Now I'm going to hole up somewhere and go through this thing. So much to look at!

After taking a bit of time over lunch to check this thing out, a few thoughts..

1 - somewhere in the shipping, use, and loving of this book the glue on the bindings couldn't hold up. My sister - studied library sciences, so I trust her - recommended I put some clips on the paper to keep it together, or cut the cover off and re-bind the book. ... That second is intimidating!

2- this thing is FULL. I'm not sure how many blank pages are left but I don't think there are going to be many!

Dear ClazBill, that binding broke when we added so many extra pages. I figure it will last us until we fill all the blank pages inside. Then we can decide what to do about rebinding. I don't know what the clips are, but if your sister can help us, that would be swell. It was an inexpensive Mead Book, but we have had much fun and when it is full, we will start another.

Here is the list. Feel free to fill all the pages. The others can add pages before we rebind. It is no problem! Just glue in some TR paper.

  1. MHGuda
  2. TMNYC
  3. PenUltress
  4. BoiseShan

Besides, I think MHGuda normally gets books at the beginning so she will like to see so much ink!
