The long-awaited "Colours of Australia" ink range from Just Write Pens has finally arrived in-store - I placed my order on Wednesday, and look what arrived in my letterbox today!

 

 

 

Reviews to follow in the appropriate forum, as I find the time...

Nice. Moving house (and states) in a month so this will unfortunately have to wait for a couple of months. Looking forward to the reviews.

 

P.S As someone who is thoroughly enjoying Diamine Ancient Copper atm, I am keen on seeing what Uluru Red is like....

As someone who also thoroughly enjoys Ancient Copper, I'll try and get a comparison up online when I get a chance. Unfortunately (or fortunately, as the case may be!) I'm also moving within the next month - but only within the same suburb. May slow things down a bit on the ink reviews, though...

As someone who also thoroughly enjoys Ancient Copper, I'll try and get a comparison up online when I get a chance. Unfortunately (or fortunately, as the case may be!) I'm also moving within the next month - but only within the same suburb. May slow things down a bit on the ink reviews, though...

Cheers. I would have thought Uluru red would be a lot brighter red from the just write website. It is an interesting color. A mix between Iro Momji and darker red.

So the Diamine Ancient Copper ink is darker than the Noodler's Red/Black?

 

It may depend a little on the pens you use, but I think these two (a Diplomat Aero 'M' and a TWSBI 580 'B') are similarly wet. But yes, it does look like the Ancient copper is just a little more saturated!

Here's a quick snapshot - sorry I don't have a swab of Visconti Blue for comparison, I packed it! (Moving home on Monday...)

 

 

The lighting's not the best, but I think it captures the colours *reasonably* well.

 

Barrier Reef Blue is more of a turquoise colour - in a wet pen, and on a less absorbent paper (I packed my Tomoe River!), it will sheen a little at the edges (reddish).

 

Sydney Harbour Blue, in my pen, is more of a blue-green than a blue-grey (as suggested by the website) - but I think that makes it *more* rather than *less* like the Sydney Harbour itself!

 

Will try and post some reviews once my desk is reassembled in the new house...
