Kwzi Brown Pink

Back around the 3rd Group Buy for KWZ Inks, a generous FPNer sent me a sample of the Brown Pink. It seemed like an interesting color, but wasn't able to decide whether I would really like it or not. I'd describe the color as "dirty burgundy", or as a subdued red-violet. It's really hard to put this ink in the category of "brown", but the pictures sometimes try to do that.

Here I was fairly complete in my selection of papers: Mohawk via Linen, Hammermill 28lb Inkjet, and Tomoe River.

I think this pic shows the color very well.

Here the ink appears quite brown, but that's probably not so accurate.

The ink seems to be a mixture of two dyes.

Not very water resistant, but it's not advertised as such. But the red-violet tone comes across very well here.

That sounds right. I don't have the Noodler's but the KWZI color seems similar to the pics I've seen of the Noodler's. Good call. The behavior of the few KWZI inks I've tried so far have been very good.

Thank you!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Thanks for the review.

This is one I'll pass on. I'm not fond of browns that lean red to start with, and was really ambivalent about the sample of BSiER I tried.
