My M101N Red Tortoise (F) is FINALLY on its way from the Netherlands!!!

They only had the M nib in stock -- had to wait for the F to come in....

Should arrive by month's end!!:)

Always try to get the dibs....on fountain pens with EF nibs!!

Yes Hari, I always look for a good deal or price. I probably should have acquired these after they had been out a little while and were more available as prices seem to be going up very fast.

As for the lizard, at first I was not impressed by the grey color, but after seeing the Stresmann I changed my mind.

Pelikan is putting out so many models now, especially in pretty colors such as the vibrant green, but I will pass on it and may look at the darker forest green when it hit the market, like I really need another pen. My wife says why, I can only write with one at a time.

Regards

Jeff

I was unimpressed with it when looking at pictures online, but when I saw it in 'person' at a pen show recently, it was a completely different story, and to my surprise, I found I preferred it to the other two new 101 models. Tastes differ, but if you like the 101 form and enjoy the Stresemann, chances are that you'll get along well with the Lizard.

Congratulations all.

How would you rate the nib....semi-nail...like a 400 or regular flex?..like a 200.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

This one is definetly not red , "CITROENPERS" PELIKAN M200 Yellow Limited Edition, but should be in the mail next week. Apparently they only made 1200.

Yes, like the Stresemann I think it is quite a bit more formal looking than the red and brown tortoise models, even more so than the anniversary model. Now if they would make a matching ballpoint or pencil, as I am a sucker for sets.
