Tomoe River Diary

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone knows of a perpetual diary made with Tomoe River paper. There is a company in Australia that makes one, however shipping just costs too much to make it worth it, so I am looking for one made in the US.

You could use any Tomoe River notebook that had 21 or more lines per page and just limit yourself to 7 lines per day. A Seven Seas Writer would have enough lines (A5 size, 7mm lines) for you to use one line for the date, each of the 3 years, and still have 7 lines of content. Tomoe River paper.

Also, those may seem expensive, but page for page, they're comparable or cheaper than any other name-brand FP friendly notebook.

I believe the Hobonichi Techo planners are also made with Tomoe River paper. They are very popular and sell out fast. Good luck.

Yes...I like it better than the Hobonichi, because there are few wasted pages--I don't use a lot of the pages in the front with the compressed calenders.. The Hobonichi covers fit the Stalogy, too. So I will probably order three more of them fairly soon. They are perfect for what I do. And I love the fact that the grid just drops out, much more so than the Hobonichi.

Is the Tomoe River paper in the Techno the same as that used in the Seven Seas? I have both and the Techno seems to have a 2-3x longer drying time.

It's not perpetual....but if you can't find something perpetual, be sure to give these a look. I have used a lot of journals over the years, and like most of us I have a box or three of unused journals in my closet, but once found Design-Y the search was over. Not cheap, but worth it.
