Did I Do The Right Thing?

The other day I was looking for some pen listings on some local auction sites and some fuzzy looking pen pictures caught my eye. The quality of the pictures was so low that the finish of the pen (Targa) was not regocognizable. Well, I spoke to the seller and he said it was a Sheaffer pen with yellow body and yellow color nib. The asking price was Pak Rupee 2300 (around $22). Well, I finalized the deal and made the payment.

 

Fast forward, when the pen arrived, it was this:

...in box, with paperwork and unpierced brand new cartridges:

 

 

It was the cheapest NOS 1005 Targa I have ever bought. Wasn't it?

Thank you, mirosc and doug1426. Shall I ink the pen and use it or shall I keep it in its pristine condition and only play with it occasionally? I have a lot of other Targas to use. Some in sterling silver and others gold and silver plated as well chorom finish.

as you have many other Targas: this one won't give you any other writing experience than the others. So keep it and enjoy you time looking at it.

Eventually there will be a moment when you can't resist that itching anymore
