Does anyone know if and when the Lamy Imporium will be sold in the US? I know it's available now in Europe, but I can't find any information on whether or not it will be sold in the US.

Does anyone know if and when the Lamy Imporium will be sold in the US? I know it's available now in Europe, but I can't find any information on whether or not it will be sold in the US.

Hi Susan!

 

No, unfortunately, The Imporium will not be sold here.

My vendor Rep informed me of this a little while back.

 

You can buy it thru UK/Euro vendors.

You can buy other Lamy Products from yours truly... ;)

I've found this pen in the US. Vanness Pens will be selling it, and today I went to Pen Boutique. Not only is the fountain pen on sale there for $416, you also get a Black Friday 20% discount bring the price down to about $330.

I can't stop buying pens and it scares me.

Too bad they are not selling in the USA!

Luckily most dealers in the EU ship the Lamy Imporium for free all over the world, besides the exchange rate $ vs € is very positive at this moment for USA citizens.

As Susan3141 notes above you can order it from Pen Boutique and until 11 AM EST today (Monday 30 Nov) you'll get 20% off bringing the total without shipping to $332. I was very happy to find this discount as I understand that Lamy is firmly telling dealers absolutely no discounts on the Imporium line so I expected to pay full, eye-watering price.

For what it's worth I've bought a few pens from Joy at Pen Boutique and they have always been excellent in service and product received.

Had a nib issue with an Edison Herald i bought about a month ago...She dug around and found the correct one (not easy to do, since they're no longer in production!!)...

The Boutique may not have the "absolute, lowest" prices....but their customer service is second-to-none!!

 

Always try to get the dibs....on fountain pens with EF nibs!!

IF stock is replenished.....and you haven't canceled the order.....you're placed in queue; you SHOULD receive notification via e-mail....

Back from Houston this evening. picked up an Imporium from Dromgoole's They have the full range of colours and nibs. I got the first one they sold. Beautiful pen but $$$$

Beautiful pen. I have sent mine to Mike Masuyama for the usual nib regrind: European EF (sort of Medium) to Japanese Fine. I will have it back in a couple of weeks... Can't wait! :)
