Dandyism - Bung Box

Sailor makes stunning inks. It's a pity so many of them aren't easily obtainable outside of Japan and they're rather expensive to order.

Dandyism was made for Bung Box.

I've received Quadrifoglio sample from one of FPNers - thank you :) . I must say this ink is simply stunning. I love murky greens so the color makes me drool. Apart from that the ink has amazing flow and some water resistance. I need a bottle. Not good.

Kinda reminds me of Miruai?

This was my thought, too. Does anyone know how they compare? It'd be nice if they were similar enough that I didn't think I needed both! ;)

Dandyism is BungBox and Quadrifoglio is Pen&Message... this one is definitely Dandyism.

I believe somewhere there is a comparison made by Saskia between Dandyism (and other inks) and MontBlanc Racing Green. Dandyism was the closes and almost indistinguishable from Racing Green.

Thanks again for an amazing Review... :D :D

I think Vis just copied that paragraph from the Quadrifoglio review and forgot to modify it. :D

Wow, I didn't realize it was so much like MBRG, I would have thought it was more like a blacker version of FC Moss Green. Thank you for the news.

VIS, great review as always.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

This is one of my favourite inks! So much so that I bought 2 bottles :D The colour nuance is so interesting!

When I first looked at the scans I thought it was a dark grey ink. It was only when people started mentioning green that I looked at them more closely. My initial impression of it being similar to Noodler's El Lawrence has thus been revised to that of J Herbin Vert Empire (but darker).

Thanks for the review.

AND the "Good news" is that is currently available @ Vanness Pens for only $43.00 (which would qualify for their FREE SHIPPING on orders over $35.!)

Interesting color. I'd be afraid this would be undistinguishable from black in normal writing. Is that the case? I have to admit that in half of the images on this review the ink appears black to me.
