Well, I have small hands, so I like the Konrad better than the Ahab. I truly dislike fat pens and find them very hard to handle. Larger hands may find the Ahab more comfortable.

I've only striped up my Konrad as I don't have an Ahab. It's one of their Ebonite range. The Konrad nib is much bigger than the Zebra so I'm hoping to effect a similar change on a Laban Meno, which seems to be a smaller pen. Going to be getting inky.

I don't understand. You can clearly see that I fitted the Zebra to the Konrad in the picture I posted.

Yes. I can see that. My Konrad is an Ebonite Dixie. Not sure what you don't understand. The Zebra's quite happy on both our pens.

Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you couldn't fit the Zebra to the Konrad...my bad.

My latest creation...a #1 Mabie Todd needlepoint flex nib from an antique dip pen slotted into a Noodler's Creaper. I heat-set the feed, and it writes like a dream.

Oh no...now you have me looking at my TWSBI 580s with squinted eyes, trying to imagine them with vintage flex nibs....
